You've never seen a lightpole like this one!
Artist Mri Pillar knows how to make an eye-catching piece of art out of a regular ol' lightpost!
The pole stands brightly in Marquette's downtown. Mri's studio is right behind the pole in ArtSpace so stop in and say hey.
We aren't dull and boring in Kansas. To know that is to "Get Kansas!"

That is a very cool lightpost. I've seen some of Mri's other work at the little house (can't remember the name) in Lucas and the folkart center there.
Mri's gallery in Lucas is called the Garden of Isis. It occupies Florence Deeble's home and the yard is filled with Florence's famuos Rock Garden.
