I'd invite you all to do what Kansas Explorer Keith Stokes did with the previous blog. His comment told about a place similiar to the one I wrote about. These kind of comments will help spread the word about what there is to see and do in Kansas.
Where are the best Christmas light displays -- or unique events yet to happen? Please post briefly in the Comment section.

The best display I have found so far is Potwin Place in Topeka. Several blocks of beautiful, lighted Victorian Homes, plus a special display on the traffic island at each intersection. It was new for me this year.
The best single house is a toss up between the Penguin Playground in Olathe (with 150 inflatables plus a penguin video running on the roof) and Mike Babick's display in Prairie Village (with life sized animated nativity, every window filled with animated Christmas characters, the garage is Santa's toy shop with dozens more animated figures, and the roof is covered with a cartoon town).
But I would love to learn of others!
One more place I should mention, the Festival of Nativities in Lawrence at the tiny, Centenary United Methodist Church. Over 300 nativity sets fill the church.
This weekend it will be open Saturday & Sunday afternoons. Free, but they accept donations for charities.
Thanks Keith!
